まるっと, read "Marutto", means "completely" or "entirely".
It conveys the idea of something whole, fun and all-inclusive.
マルマート, read "Maru Maato", is the Japanese pronunciation of Maru Mart.
マル (maru) also means "circle", symbolizing continuity, harmony and the convenience store spirit.
Together, it’s a playful word pun that expresses the full Maru Mart experience: joyful, complete and playfully Japanese.
